B’nai Mitzvot / Bat Mitzvah / Bar Mitzvah DJs

For years you schlep back and forth to Hebrew School and lessons with the Cantor just to make it to this big day. The day finally arrives where your 13 year old becomes an “adult” and gets rewarded by reading from the Torah and then gets to celebrate with an awesome party.  Let Social Sounds help make this special day a remarkable and memorable one!

From the music to the lighting and Emcee’s, Social Sounds will take your party to the next level.

At the cocktail hour, Social Sounds’ Bat/ Bar Mitzvah DJs and dancers will begin entertaining the guests by getting to know them. If the cocktail room requires a separate sounds system, we can provide this.

Our guest of honor, the Bar Mitzvah boy or Bat Mitzvah girl, will do us the honor of opening the main room. Next, we introduce the guest of honor, chaperoned by our dancers, bringing a burst of energy right from the beginning of the celebration. Then we will involve all of the guests by getting them on the dance floor for about 10 minutes.

After we get the entire room ready to celebrate and up on their feet, we will proceed with a grand entrance of the Bar or Bat Mitzvah family, the Hamotzei (Challah blessing), toast if any, and Candle Lighting Ceremony.

Candle Lighting Basic Order:

·        Grandparents

·        Aunts and Uncles

·        Cousins

·        Family Friends

·        Guest of Honor’s Friends

·        Immediate Family

This order may be changed based on your liking. Your family members may also match specific songs to certain candle lighters as they are approaching the cake.

Once the Candle Lighting Ceremony is completed, we will then dance the Hora and sit you down for the first course or the buffet. During the first course, we will proceed with the first dance, toasts and speeches.

As soon as the first course is finished, the real partying begins! We will play a diverse set of music ranging from the 60’s to today’s commercial hits. If there is another course of food, we will ask your guests to be seated only by the caterer’s request.

This is our standard schedule for B’nai Mitzvot celebrations. We can work with you to plan the perfect party for your special “adult.”
